Hiper filtración
Hyperfiltration is a type of membrane filtration process that uses a membrane with very small pores to separate dissolved solutes from water based on their size and charge.
The pore size of our hyperfiltration membranes ranges from 0.001 µm to 0.05 µm, which is smaller than the size of most viruses and bacteria, yet larger than many ions and small dissolved molecules.
In a hyperfiltration process, water containing dissolved solutes is passed through the membrane under pressure. Water molecules, which are small enough to pass through the pores, are filtered through, while larger dissolved solutes are retained. This separation is based on the size and charge of the solutes, as well as their affinity for the membrane material. Hyperfiltration is used in various fields, such as water treatment, pharmaceutical production, and food processing.
It often offers an efficient and selective alternative to traditional methods such as ultrafiltration or reverse osmosis, depending on the specific requirements: it is more selective than ultrafiltration for dissolved solutes and generally requires less pressure than reverse osmosis, while offering a balanced compromise between purity and performance.
In reverse osmosis, almost no minerals remain in the water, which is why remineralization is often required. However, the amount of minerals added back is usually very limited. A growing group of health experts therefore considers reverse osmosis water to be less nourishing compared to methods that retain more natural minerals, such as hyperfiltration.
One of the main benefits of hyperfiltration is its ability to selectively remove specific dissolved solutes from water while allowing others to remain. This enables more precise control over the composition of the filtered water and facilitates the production of high-purity, healthy water for a wide range of applications.

What do we filter?
Our membrane is made of m-PES, a modified polyethersulfone polymer with excellent mechanical and chemical resistance. This allows membrane filtration down to 0.001 µm to 0.05 µm,.
Microbiologically: viruses (4-log reduction or 99.99%), bacteria, spores, cysts… 6-log or 99.9999%
Chemically: reduction of heavy metals, microplastics and nanoplastics, PFAS…
Color, odor, turbidity…
Our hyper filtration removes from the water what shouldn’t be there, while leaving essential minerals and salts intact.
Our filtered water is safe, gentle, has a delicious taste, and is kind to your wallet.
Backwash - what is it?
Membrane filters are of the hollow fiber type with an open-end system. This means that water is pushed through the membrane wall, and the filtered water flows through the inside. The “dirt” is trapped on the outside of the membrane.
By regularly rinsing the membrane, bacteria, viruses, heavy metals, suspended particles, and more are flushed out of the filter. This process is called backwash of the nanotechnology membrane filter.
No electricity needed
Our filtration systems do not require electricity, only sufficient pressure.
The straw works by suction, the jerrycan is equipped with a built-in pump, and the other systems use the normal pressure of the available water.
